Obituary

Margaret (Peggy) Eichwedel Dickinson was born on February 22, 1937 in Aldershot, England. She was orphaned at age 15 after losing both parents during the war. She came to the United States in 1966. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she had been employed as a housekeeper at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill. She moved to Coloma that same year. Margaret was an avid gardener. She also loved to cook and entertain guests in her home. She was a pet lover with a fondness for dogs, and had a passion for caring for children, the sick, and the elderly.

Margaret is survived by her son, Paul Eichwedel of Chicago; her daughter Cheryl Schultz of Coloma, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Norman Eichwedel and her third husband, George Dickinson.

Cremation has taken place and no local services are planned at this time. The family is being assisted by Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Memorials may be made to the Jeremiah Community Renewal Corporation, 552 N. Lawler Ave., Chicago, IL  60644.
