Margaret "Marge" Baes, 82 of Coloma, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at her home.

Visitation will be Monday, June 10th from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 P.M.  at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Watervliet.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link at www.duffieldpastrick.com.

Marge was born October 12, 1941 in Chicago to Theodore and Marie (Cummings) Schaefer.  She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, serving as treasurer for the Alter and Rosary Society.  Marge was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that loved to cook, bake, and play bingo, in addition to having an amazing voice.  Above all she loved being with her family, truly enjoying all of her little charmers.

Survivors include her husband Paul, whom she married June 10, 1961 in Chicago; her children, Debbie Gillenwater of Hartford, Joe (Donna) Baes of New Bern, NC, Carrie (Preston) Alsup of Coloma, Amy (Keith) Podman of Coloma, and a sister Eileen Schaefer of North Riverside, IL.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Evan, Taylor, Andrew, Joseph II, Cassandra, Paul, Jordan, Lane, Luke, Cole, Russell, and seven great grandchildren, Gabriella, Isabella, Annabella, Colin, Asher, Theodore, and Maddox.
