Marian L. Grumbir, 83, of Longview, Texas  passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, in Longview.

Mrs. Grumbir was born January 20, 1935 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Henry Havescher and Esther Popke Havescher. Marian was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Grumbir's passion was children and she loved working with all the babies in the daycare centers she worked for. She loved her church and was a faithful member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Longview. Marian enjoyed camping, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.

Marian is survived by her children Cindy Garland of Austin and Ray and Sandy Plunkett of Longview; grandchildren Scott, Krysten, Andrew and Arin, Jonathan and Betty, Debbie and Cheri; 22 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; step sons Frank, Mark, Scott Grumbir and families; extended family the Berry's, Townsend's and Thomas' as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Esther Havescher; two sisters Jean and Jo; husband Frank Grumbir; Pete and Billy.

Family graveside services, laying her to rest next to her husband Frank, were held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at 1300 Judson Rd, Longview, TX 75601.
