Marilyn G. Bytnar, 69 of Watervliet passed away at Corewell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation starting at noon until the start of the service. Those wishing to leave an online message for the family may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com.

Marilyn was born October 17, 1955 in Chicago to John and Winifred (Sass) Stack. She worked at and managed the Charles T. Powner Publishing Company for 25 years and then enjoyed being at home with her kids and breeding Great Danes. Marilyn took great pride in the Great Danes she bred, raised and showed for over 30 years. She also loved fruit and vegetable picking, stopping at all of the local farms, orchards and u-picks, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles to keep her mind sharp, shopping and going to garage sales with her daughter and most recently traveling, seeing mountains and streams.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Paul, whom she married February 24, 1990; children Jeffery Khoshaba, Andrew (Danielle Farley) Bytnar and Jennifer (Keith Martin) Bytnar; siblings Bill (Collette) Stack, David (Janet Hand) Stack and Claudia (Phil) Olszewski; and sister in law Debbie Stack. Also surviving is her grandson Michael Khoshaba, her dog Luke and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Michael Stack.
