Marilyn J. Osgood, 69, of Coloma, passed away on September 29, 2018 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at the Coloma FOP Lodge #147, 3470 Angling Road: Coloma, MI 49038,  from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Those wishing to leave a message or share a memory with the family online may do so by selecting the link on the top of this page.

Marilyn was born January 28, 1949 in St. Joseph to William and Mildred (Freyanek) Duering.   She graduated from Coloma High School, attended Ferris State University and was later employed by Michigan Standard Alloys for over 20 years. Marilyn enjoyed riding around in their red corvette and traveling to Las Vegas. She had a passion for helping people and loved everyone at dialysis during her five years of treatments. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandson Nicholas.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Douglas "Doug", whom she married on July 21, 1973; her daughter Nichola (Jason) Ramai of Ada, Mich. and her grandson Nicholas. Also surviving is her brother Wayne Duering; sister in law Judy Stowell; brother in law Darrell Osgood; nephews Richard (Dawn) Osgood and Paul (Karen) Stowell; niece Michaela Short; great nephew Caden; and great nieces Addison and Ava.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother in law Thomas Stowell, sister in law Diana Duering and her father and mother in law Darrell Sr. and Berniece Osgood.
