Marlin R. Lambrecht, 84 of Coloma passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2020 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St Joseph.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Donations in memory of Marlin may be given to the Salvation Army, 233 Michigan St, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.
Marlin was born Sept. 9, 1935 in Benton Harbor to Charles and Hazel (Hopkins) Lambrecht. He formerly owned and operated the Texaco and Citco service stations in Coloma. In his free time Marlin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn; children, Denise Welch, Dennis (Colleen) Lambrecht, Sally Love, Shelly Swears and Cyndi Lambrecht; a brother Ronald (Evelyn) Lambrecht; sisters, Louadel Williamson, Juanita Johnson, and Naomi Allen and a sister-in-law Jeanine Lambrecht. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Heather (Bobby) Dollison, Patricia (Michael) Huddleston, Stephanie Hood, Kristine (Jeff) Sawyer, Melissa (Kyle) Rutkowski, Shannon Lambrecht, and Whitney (John) Floyd; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; along with his special friend Ted Lambrecht and canine companion Carmella.
Marlin was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Edgar, Luzzeta, Curtis, Mardel, Gaylord, Olin, Veloris, Delbert and Kenneth; and several nieces and a nephew.
