Marvin T. Bailey, 75 of Coloma went to be with his Lord peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence.
Private family services are taking place. Burial will take place in Keeler Cemetery, next to his wife Elaine, who preceded him in death in 2014. Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.
Marvin was born May 12, 1945 in Haleyville, Alabama to William T. and Liza Jane (Pinkard) Bailey. He was a member of Red Arrow General Baptist Church in Benton Harbor and was formerly employed by Auto Specialties. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to church.
Survivors include five children; Michael Wayne Bailey of Watervliet, Jeffrey Bailey of Coloma, Cindy Saylor of Covert, Wendy Cockrun of Coloma, Michael W. Bailey of Benton Harbor; five sisters; Sue Hopson of Hartford, Fay Prince of Hartford, Sarah McNutt of Alabama, Hattie Swabe of Tenn., and Linda Reid of Coloma. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a special niece Carin Smith of Coloma, several additional nieces and nephews, and his very close canine companion "Baby".
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents William T. and Liza Jane Bailey, wife Elaine, a daughter Theresa, a son Robbie, three sisters and one brother.
