Mary C. Valdes, 68 of Coloma passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 24, 2020 at her residence.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 28th at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.

Mary was born October 9, 1951 to Claude and Kathleen (Rodgers) Easley.  She truly enjoyed nature and being outside, especially the flowers and the birds. Taking camping trips up north were also a favorite pastime of hers.  She was an extremely caring individual that just loved her grandchildren.  Mary had been employed by Chardon Rubber in St. Joseph.

Survivors include her husband Steve; a daughter Dana (Jaysen) Hosbein of Coloma, her step-son Draper Horton of Colorado; one brother, Claude Easley, Jr of Niles; a sister Laura Cummings of Coloma; and three grandchildren, Cruz and Madalina Gallegos, and Henry Hosbein.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews along with five brother-in-laws and five sister-in-laws.

Mary was preceded in death by a son James Chevrette, Jr in 1995, and two sisters, Betty Baker and Patricia Nelson.
