Michael Allan Guess, 46, of Coloma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph following a short illness.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Coloma Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Memorials may be made to the Berrien County Cancer Service. Michael was born February 21, 1971 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Jimmy and Vera (Mangold) Guess. He was employed as a landscaper with Perfect Edge Lawn Care for over 25 years with his longtime friend John Lamoreaux. Prior to that he had also worked at Easy Street Inn in Coloma. Michael's favorite pastime was golf.

Michael is survived by his mother Vera Guess of Coloma; brothers Jimmy (Sherri) Guess and Brian Guess, all of Coloma; his grandmother Patricia Mangold of Stevensville; his niece Ashley and nephews Austin, Cory and Dylan.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Jimmy on March 5, 2017.
