Michael Woodward, 61, passed away on Friday July 23rd, at Rose Arbor Hospice. He was the husband of Theresa Woodward. They shared 38 years of marriage together.

Born November 12th, 1959 in Watervliet, MI, he was the son of Carol and (late) Donald Woodward. He was a graduate of Hartford High School and spent many years fulfilling his entrepreneurial dreams.

Michael was known for his work with the Hartford Public Schools Foundation For Quality Education. It was always important to him that he give back to the community that fostered not only his own growth as a person, but his children's as well. He will be remembered for his bright smile, his leadership/loyalty, his tactful wit, the strength he provided to his loved ones, and his resilience through adversity. The word "quit" was not in Michael's vocabulary. He touched many lives, sold many cars, and made many friends throughout his journey. Most importantly, he was the best father a child could ever hope for.

He leaves behind a loving mother Carol Woodward, the love of his life Theresa Woodward, his firstborn and second love Bethany Bivens (Douglas), future daughter in law Ashley Hopson, only son and apple that fell right next to the tree Phillip Woodward, his aunt and sister in spirit Sharon Clupper (Bill), a brother and partner in crime Kenneth Woodward (Teresa), everyone's favorite princess and sister Susan Stenberg (Steven), Brother and Sisters In Law William and Lisa Wallace, Joseph Kroboth, and Duane and Sara Kroboth, mother in law Betty Kroboth, Navy Veteran and premium member of the "call Uncle Mike if you're in trouble program" Jayme Woodward, a goofy pair of granddogs Scooby and Bella Blue, and many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Donald Woodward, father in law Fred Kroboth, and his daughter Brooke Woodward.

The funeral service will be held on August 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, MI. The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to the time of the service.
