Nancy J. Martin, 69, of Benton Harbor, passed away on April 14, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a burial of ashes will take place next to her mother in Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Those wishing to leave a message or share a memory with the family online may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com.

Nancy was born February 10, 1952 in Kalamazoo to Clyde and Madalyn (Phares) Homan.   She retired from MDOT after 30 years of employment and had a passion for the outdoors. She loved gardening, flowers, mushroom hunting, plants and anything by the water such as kayaking and swimming. Nancy also enjoyed shopping, especially on Amazon.

Nancy is survived by her husband Allen whom she married September 2, 1995; a daughter Kimberly Thames of Covert and four grandchildren Dominic, Dylan, Ashley and Hailey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Homan.
