Noka J. Adair, 80, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 at the family's lake house in Baldwin, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Duffield & Pastrick Funeral Home in Coloma. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Visitation will take place Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. Memorials in Noka's honor may be made to Hospice of Michigan. Noka was born July 29, 1941, the daughter of Ottis and Lora Worley, and grew up in the Benton Harbor area. She and Charles Adair were married on March 15, 1968. Prior to retirement, Noka was employed as a Clerk of the Court for Sarasota County in Florida. The couple loved to travel and over the course of their lives had visited every mainland state in the country. They resided in Englewood, Fla. but spent the summer months at their Baldwin lake house. It was there that they also held the family reunions each year over the fourth of July. She especially loved her time spent with family and her grandchildren. Noka enjoyed scrapbooking, all kinds of games and dancing. She was a tender hearted person who never spoke a bad word about anyone.

Noka is survived by her husband Charles; daughters Sherry Starkey of Gaylord, Mich. and Jennifer Mackey of Grand Haven; son Russell (Donna) Gard of Grand Haven; sister Donna Whitney of Sarasota; grandchildren, Brittney, Nick, Jasmine, Alayna, Kristy, Chelsea, Mackenzie and Tanner; great grandchildren J.J., Oliver and Sophie; and a very special friend Marge Bentz.
