Norma Louise Turner, 98, of Coloma passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning at noon. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Masks will be provided by the family and available for those that may need one. Memorials may be made to the North Berrien Senior Center. Norma was born Feb. 7, 1922 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Ernest and Minnie (Kietzer) Arent. Several years after Ernest passed away, Minnie married Norman Plumley.  Norma and Paul Turner were married on Dec. 20, 1941 and together the couple raised their four children in the Coloma area. Norma has lived at her current residence for the past 73 years. Paul, Norma and the family loved to travel and she actually visited every state in the country, including Alaska and Hawaii. She enjoyed cooking and baking but spending time with her family was her favorite pastime.

Norma is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Barbara) Turner of Lecanto, Florida. and Ricky (Sheryl) Turner of Nenana, Alaska; her two daughters, Linda (John) Piehl and Candy Burton, all of Coloma; her brother Nathan Arent of Benton Harbor; her sister Alma Arent of St. Joseph; three grandchildren, James (Karen) Turner, Kristina Turner-Bennett and Paul (Kristi) Turner-Bennett; and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1997; her sister-in-law Ruth Arent and her son-in-law Robert Burton.
