Ocea O. Davis, 88, of Coloma, passed away Friday morning, June 9, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday,June 12 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Services celebrating her life will be held  11 a.m. Tuesday at Red Arrow General Baptist Church in Benton Harbor. Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery. Memorials in Ocea's memory may be made to Hospice at Home or the  American Cancer Society. Ocea was born on Oct. 18, 1928 in Five Mile, Ark. to Bill and Effie (McCarty) Cornett. In March of 1948 she married C.K. Davis, who preceded her in death in 1980. She was a member of Red Arrow General Baptist Church in Benton Harbor where she was the church secretary for 35 years. Later Ocea worked at Modern Plastics until she retired in 1991. Her hobbies included quilting, ceramics, crocheting and gardening. She was a Cubs fan and she loved being around her family.

Ocea is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Leo) Quinn and Phyllis (Dan) McNew, both of Coloma; two brothers Chester and Lester Cornett, of Drasco, Ark.; two sisters, Margie Busch of Memphis, Tenn. and Joyce Bufford of Drasco, Ark.; her sister-in-law Donna Cornett of Green Forest, Ark.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
