Paul L. "Larry" Soderborg Jr., 71 of Coloma passed away on March 19, 2024 at Corewell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with burial following at Lakeshore Cemetery in Riverside. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the start of the service. Memorial donations in Larry's memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Larry was born February 11, 1953 in Chicago to Paul Sr. and Noamia (Conners) Soderborg. He graduated from Coloma in 1971 where he was a good pitcher for the Coloma Baseball Team and went on to received his bachelors degree in political science from Western Michigan University. Larry worked for Modern Plastics as a supervisor and retired from Republic Services in 2017. He was a great husband and father, and absolutely loved sports. Larry enjoyed watching and playing golf and watching the White Sox, the Bears, MSU football and basketball, all of Western Michigan University sports, the Chicago Bulls and the Blackhawks. Larry also loved being on Lake Michigan and watching the beautiful sunsets.

Larry is survived by his wife Beverly (Head), whom he married April 19, 1980; his son Joshua (Chelsey) Soderborg; two brothers Dan (Lyn) Soderborg and Steve Soderborg; brother in law David (Linda) Head and sisters in law Debbie (Keith) Yeske, Sandy Phillips, Cheryl (Willy) Raucci and Nancy (Greg) Wells. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
