Raymond L. Morlock, 88, of Coloma passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at his daughter's residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will take place Sunday from 2-4 P.M.

Memorial donations in Ray's memory may be made to the First Congregational United Church of Christ or Caring Circle Hospice.

Ray was born August 18, 1932 in Coloma, Michigan to Reuben and Adeline Morlock. As a young boy he was an Eagle Scout. After graduation from Coloma High School, Ray did auto repair at the family garage. In 1953 during the Korean War he joined the U.S. Army and attained the rank of Sergeant prior to his discharge in1955. Following the war, Ray worked as a manufacturing engineer at Bendix for 38 years. He retired in 1996 but continued doing some consultant work there. He was also an active member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Coloma. Every year Ray and his wife Joyce traveled to Wyoming to hunt antelope. They loved this annual trip and each year invited different friends and family to join them, which over the years totaled 30 different people. On the drive to Wyoming, they would stop at various tourist sites along the way. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being in the great outdoors. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Ray is survived by his two sons, Reuben Morlock and Raymond (Colleen) Morlock Jr., both of Coloma; his daughter Jane (Keith) Lovell of Hartford; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 2018; his parents and his brother Wesley.
