A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. This will be a time to remember Butch and share your favorite memories. Friends and family are encouraged to dress casually. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials in Butch's honor may be made to the Marie Yeager Cancer Center or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.

Butch was born Sept. 25, 1957 in St. Joseph, Michigan to Raymond Sr. "Skip" and Shirley (Dirst) Svorec. He served his country for seven years in the United States Marines Corps. By trade he was an auto mechanic and worked at various local shops. Butch was a huge NASCAR fan and loved his Michigan Wolverine football. He also enjoyed playing golf and Friday night poker at his special friends Joe and Cindy Berry's home.
Butch is survived by his daughter Kylie Svorec of St. Joseph and his son Raymond Gary of South Carolina; his mother Shirley (Dirst) Mason of Coloma; his sister Teresa (Randy) Donohue of Coloma; brothers John (Melissa) Svorec of Texas and David (Michelle) Svorec of Benton Harbor; his grandson Grayson Gary and several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Sr. Skip Svorec, his sister Alisha Svorec and his son Zakary Thomas Svorec.
