Richard G.
Ginger Sr.
Feb 10, 1930 — Aug 6, 2017
Engineer, boxer, fisherman, carpenter, lover of crime shows, blackjack, stocks, and intrigue – Richard Ginger departed his body around 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at the age of 87. He is now on to new kinds of mornings, and will be missed by many, as his family is of the large and devoted kind.
When he woke up humming you knew he was excited and looking for his next adventure, as he was not meant for boredom. We are sad his journey will no longer be alongside ours on Earth, but we are joyful the adventure continues on elsewhere for him, whatever it may be.
Just a few days before he died he sang "It's Alright" by Curtis Mayfield, so, don't forget his advice, "when you wake up early in the morning / feeling sad like many of us do / hum a little soul / make life your goal / and surely something's got to come to you." It's what Richard would have done.
