Richard J. Luther, known affectionately as Rich, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 26, 1943, in Chicago, IL, Rich spent his later years in Coloma, MI, where he was known for his passion for classic cars and his love of Lake Michigan beach.

Rich was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Alice. They have five children: Elizabeth, Carolyn, Dan, Marcy, and Matt, who carry forward his spirit and love. Rich was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and cherished the lives of four great granddaughters.

Rich was proceeded in death by his parents, sister, two nephews, aunts and uncles.

Rich's enthusiasm for classic cars was a defining aspect of his life, reflecting his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. He will be remembered not only for his hobbies but also for the joy and warmth he brought to the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his wife, Alice, and his loving family, who will continue to honor his legacy. Rich's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 20th, at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Coloma. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, Jan. 19th, from 1 - 3  p.m. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
