Robert W. Clark, 89, of Benton Harbor passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Pine Ridge in Stevensville.

Robert was born July 24, 1929, in Three Rivers. He was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean War. On Sept. 5, 1953, he and Elaine Tranter were married in Chicago. Robert was a member of the Operator Engineers and was employed as a crane operator at the D.C. Cook Plant in Bridgman prior to retirement.

Robert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine; children: Martha Merrill, Michael (Cindy) Clark, Mark Clark and Matthew Clark; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Minnie and Gerald; his daughter, Karen; and a great-great-grandson, Landon.
