Robert "Bob" Foster, 84, of Coloma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his immediate family on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, MI.

Bob was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend.  Throughout his life, he was always willing to go above and beyond to help others, especially his family.  He had the biggest heart and was incredibly devoted to his wife and children.  He meant everything to them as well.

Bob worked at G.C. Murphy Co. in St. Joseph for many years.  He had also been employed by Auto Specialties in St. Joseph.  He retired as a pipefitter from General Motors in 2005.

Bob is remembered by his wife of 64 years, Judy; daughter, Robin (Mark) Roberts; and son, Roger (Anna) Foster as well as his siblings Anna Holdread, Gertrude Weaver, Helen Flugrath and Lee (Peggy) Foster; and many extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by siblings, John Foster, Jr., Mary Saltzman, Leonard Foster, Charles "Chuck" Foster and Lawrence Foster as well as his parents John Foster and Frieda (Zupke) Foster Yoder.

As per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to AnimalAid, P.O. Box 407, St. Joseph, MI  49085.
