Robert Gerald Hendrickson was born March 16, 1966 in Eugene, Oregon to John and Denise (Cross) Hendrickson II.  He passed away at his residence in Coloma on Saturday, December 3, 2016, following a lengthy battle with brain tumors.

Robert graduated from Andrews University in 1988.  He was formerly employed by Whirlpool Corporation from 1986 until 2002.  He was a deacon at Pioneer Memorial Church in Berrien Springs and with his beautiful tenor voice was very active in the Riverside United Methodist Church choir.  He truly enjoyed Isshinryu karate at the YMCA in St. Joseph, earning his green belt before becoming unable to continue due to brain tumor growth and progression.

Robert is survived by his wife Ami of Coloma, whom he married June 12, 1988; his daughter Cassandra Marie Hendrickson of Coloma; a brother John Hunt Hendrickson III of Chatsworth, CA; a sister Hallie Thomas of Port Angeles, WA; and two half sisters, Karen Allen on the USS Ronald Reagan, and Heather Ghrist of Port Angeles, WA.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will take place 4:00 P.M., Sunday, December 18 at Riverside United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Cassandra's  college education fund may be made in memory of Robert.
