Robert G. Williams, 85, of Benton Harbor, passed away at his home on Friday, December 14, 2018 after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Burial with Military Rites will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.

Bob was born April 23, 1933 in Moro, Arkansas to Carl and Elsie Williams. His family moved to Michigan when Bob was 5 years old. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School prior to joining the U.S. Air Force and serving during the Korean War.  After the service Bob became a trained electrician. Initially he worked for the Benton Harbor school system and later became employed with the Whirlpool Corporation where he spent 30+ years prior to retiring in 1999.

Bob is survived by his daughter Brittany (Adam) Deane of Mattawan; sons Bryan (Tammy) Williams of Watervliet and Bradford Williams of Dilwood, Minn.; his daughter-in-law Gail Williams of North Judson, Ind.; his brother Bill Williams of Stevensville; eleven grandchildren, Melony, Lindsey, Jordon,  and Corinne Williams, Alana Miller, Aidan Rogers, Adrianna and Elias Deane, Joseph Perdue, Jessica Mathis, and Haley Lewis; three great grandchildren, Brooke, Evan and Logan Lopez; and his ex wife Danni Powell of Benton Harbor.

Bob was preceded by his parents and his granddaughter Madison Williams.
