Rodney G. Robinson, 66, of Eau Claire, passed away on October 11, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 17 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Those wishing to leave a message or share a memory with the family online may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com. Rodney was born August 16, 1958 in Benton Harbor to Kermit and Helen (Mitchell) Robinson.   He was employed by Vail Rubber Works for 31 years, until his retirement in 2020. Rodney loved playing softball in his younger years and was an avid sports fan, especially the Michigan Wolverines and the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Rodney loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids Alivia, Jaidyn, Sydnee, Brycen, Brooklynn, Avery and Bayleigh.

Rodney is survived by his children Rodney (Kristina) Hutsell of Hartford and Stefanie (Christopher) James of Watervliet; siblings Kermit (Melba) Robinson of Watervliet, Robbie Robinson of Berrien Springs, Pamela (Bill) Trail of Eau Claire and Jewell Sims of Niles. Also surviving are life long friends Bill, Gene and Jeff and many nieces and nephews who affectionately knew him as "Uncle Slim".

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John Paul Robinson and sister Rita Boone.
