Rudolph “Rudy” R. Keipke, 73 of Coloma, passed away as the result of a motorcycle accident on July 8, 2026.

Rudy was born September 1, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Erwin and Theresa (Spitz) Keipke. He was the first of his family born in the United States, with his parents and sisters immigrating from Germany. Rudy was on the Sheriff’s posse as security and was the head of the Coloma School’s bus garage for many years. He always had a smile and had a love for his friends, animals and the children that he helped keep safe. Rudy also had a small ranch in Millburg and enjoyed pigeons, horses, many types of fish and especially his Norton motorcycle.

Rudy is survived by his two sons Jacob (Chelsea) Richcreek of Kalamazoo and Brandon (Brittany) Villarreal of Lincoln, NE and his sisters Johanna and Angie.
