Sandra Jacobs, 71, of Watervliet, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will take place Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. Memorials in Sandy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Sandy was born April 24, 1945 in Sault St. Marie, Michigan. She was one of eight children born to Fernley and Mary Killips. She and Ned "Jake" Jacobs were married on Nov. 4, 1967. Family was most important to Sandy and she loved them all dearly, especially her grandkids. Sandy enjoyed sewing and embroidering as well as baking, she was also an avid collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia.

Sandy is survived by her son, Ned Jacobs Jr. of Watervliet; two daughters, Tracy Jacobs of Watervliet and Michelle (Bryan) Schlipp of Coloma; her sister, Barbara (Kenneth) Jefferson of Dudley, North Carolina; her brother Richard (Wilma) Killips of Stevensville; three grandchildren, Matthew Jacobs, Bryan Schlipp Jr. and Colton Schlipp; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Jake in 2011; her parents; four brothers, Lyle, Ben, Jerry, and Bob Killips; and her sister Audrey Myotte.
