Sara E. Jeffery, 38 of Buchanan passed away Saturday, February 24 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.

Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Yore Community Church in Sodus.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Watervliet.  Donations in memory of Sara may be made to Yore Community Church. As a tribute to Sara, the family is requesting you wear orange or green to honor her love for vibrant colors.

Sara was born April 9, 1985 in St. Joseph to Dianna Valenti and Virgil "Ward" Sisson.  She held various jobs but most recently at Nova in Stevensville for the past 3 years, always making friends wherever she worked.

Her kids and family were extremely important to her.  In her free time, while spending time with her family, she enjoyed sunsets and the beach, nature in general, and visiting Sarrett Nature Center.  She had a great sense of humor and loved watching comedians.  She even claimed to know Karate because she watched Jackie Chan so much.  And we cant forget she truly preferred fajitas if given a choice.

Sara is survived by her husband Lonnie whom she married in 2021; three children, Dominique Brumfield, Jordynn Redman, and Amaya Jeffery.  Also surviving is her grandmother Diann Harris, two brothers, Dominick (Megan) Valenti and Jonah Valenti, a special aunt and uncle Lisa and Joe "Uncle Clutch" Baum, mother in law Marzelia Jeffery, grandmother in law Ernestine Bland, along with a host of cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Sara was preceded in death by her grandfather Richard Harris and her biological mother Dianna Valenti.
