Shari Ann Hoefs, 55 of St. Joseph, MI and Tinley Park, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at her residence in St. Joseph.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Shadowland Event Center, 333 Broad Street, St. Joseph, MI 49085, beginning at 1:00 P.M.  Donations to assist the family with services may be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/shari-hoefs .

Shari was born January 7, 1967 in Benton Harbor to Lester and Ida (Jarvis) Hauch.

She loved spending her free time at the beach, going on trips with her family and friends, and supporting her children's endeavors.

Shari is survived by her husband Thomas whom she married September 24, 1988; a son Luke Hoefs of St. Pete, Fla; two daughters, Samantha Hoefs of Nashville, and Elizabeth Hoefs of Kalamazoo; her parents Lester and Ida Hauch of Coloma, three brothers; Mike (Leighann) Hauch of Coloma, Matt (Anita) Hauch of Coloma, and Martin (Melissa) Hauch of Cave Springs Ark., sisters and brothers in law; Chris and Pam Wertanen, and Craig and Julie Kutchinski Voth.  Also surviving are lifelong friends Becky Leedy, Calisa Norman, Kara Kiley, Kim Fahnholz, and Kelly Banks, along with her dog Odin.
