Steve Valdes, 61 of Coloma passed away at his home surrounded by his family on March 13, 2023.

Steve was born on March 9, 1962 in Adrian, Michigan to Adan and Damacia (Lara) Valdes. He worked at Chardon Rubber in St. Joseph for over 20 years and most recently worked at Aludyne in Stevensville. Steve enjoyed playing softball, fishing, golfing, drawing, listening to records and most importantly visiting with family and friends.

Steve is survived by his children Dana (Jaysen) Hosbein and Draper Horton; grandchildren Henry, Madalina and Cruz; and siblings David Valdes, Eddie (Pam) Valdes, Manual (Sue) Valdes, Tony (Kelly) Valdes, Liz (Les) Hulting, Teresa (Jeff) Woods, Linda (Kevin) Jonio and Becky (Don) Martin.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2020, his step son Jimmy Chevrette and his siblings Robert Valdes and Margaret Parker.
