Steven Grigsby, 72, of Coloma, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September, 18, 2018 with his family by his side.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service in remembrance of Steve's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 27th at First General Baptist Church on North Shore Drive in Coloma. Steve was born July 24, 1946 in Coloma, Michigan to L.C. and Mildred (Totzke) Grigsby. He and his wife Barbara were married in 1965 and had celebrated 53 years together. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Steve had been employed with Harris Trucking in Benton Harbor as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He also had his own band in the 1980's known as The Steve Grigsby Band in which he sang and played guitar.

Steve is survived by his wife Barbara; his son Christian (Glenda) Randall of Coloma; his daughter Sherry Sanders of Coloma; his brother Larry (Sharon) Grigsby of Watervliet; his sister Carol Whitmire of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren, Brandon Emanuel of Grand Rapids, Austin, Logan and Hunter Sanders of St. Joseph, Jasmine Clark of South Haven, and Freddy Maddron of Dowagiac; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nancy Bers.
