Steward W. Brown, 70, of Watervliet, passed away Wed, May 31, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

Services celebrating his life will be held 1 pm Tuesday, June 6 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma where visitation will be from 11 am up until the time of service.  Burial will follow in Coloma Cemetery.  Those wishing to leave an online message of remembrance may do so by using the "Guestbook" link located on this page.

Steward was born March 26, 1947 in Chapmanville, West Virginia to James and Mary (Fry) Brown.  He served in the Marine Corps Reserve and retired as owner of S & K Construction in Watervliet.  In his free time Steward liked fishing and loved going to car shows in his '55' Chevy, taking first place every time.

Survivors include his children; Kayla Brown of Watervliet, James Brown of Watervliet, and Selena Jonjevic of Coloma.  Also surviving is one brother, Ronnie Brown of North Carolina and nine grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Kailee, Kaiden, Asher, Ashley, James, Aiden, and Kylie.

Steward was preceded in death by a son Steward W. Brown Jr., two brothers, Thomas and Michael and seven sisters, Opal, Delma, Diana, Lou Ella, Theresa, Deborah, and Dreama.
