Susan C. Comer, 65 of Eau Claire, passed away February 2 at Corewell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Susan was born October 31, 1958 in Beauty Mountain, West Virginia to Henry and Jessica (Lynch) Comer. She worked at Applebee's for 20 years, at various locations in Benton Harbor, South Bend and Goshen. Susan was a member of Bright Star Tabernacle in Eau Claire and spent a lot of time gardening and working outside in her yard. She also loved spending time with her grandkids, taking them whenever she could, bringing home Applebee's appetizer platters and watching marathons of her favorite shows.

Susan is survived by her children Jeremy (Rebecca) Russell of Coloma and Shana Hochstetler of Nappanee; siblings Bob Comer, Faye Comer and Lorraine Hilliard; grandchildren Charles Russell, Jeremy Russell, Samantha Russell, Mikila Hochstetler, Libby Hochstetler, Clay Hochstetler and great grandchildren Brycen Russell and Britton Martin. Also surviving is her special friend Henry Trail and all of her Applebee's Family.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents Amos and Jesse Comer; three brothers Steve Comer, Sonny Comer and Bernard Comer and a sister Ernestine Ball.
