Thomas Clinton Smith, 92, of Benton Harbor, passed away Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb 19 ^th at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Burial with Military Rites will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Visitation will start at 11:00 A.M. Saturday and continue until 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the North Berrien Military Rites Team.

Tom was born in Cardwell, Missouri on Dec. 31, 1929. He was born to Marshal and Ida May Smith. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He and his wife Eulah moved their family to Michigan in 1967. Tom had worked as a maintenance supervisor for Michigan Standard Alloy for over 20 years prior to retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed growing his own fruits and vegetables, riding his tractor, and doing landscaping. His greatest joy however, was spending his time with his family, especially all his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his four-legged friend Moo Moo; his daughter Janice (Brian) Rodda of Benton Harbor; five sons, Gene Cross of Missouri, Dene (Hazel) Cross, Dan Kennedy and Kenny Smith, all of Benton Harbor, and Mike Smith of Sodus; five brothers, Bill (Judy) Smith of S. Carolina, Richard (Barbara) Smith of Watervliet, Gerald (Dorothy) Smith, Lynn (Becky) Smith and Bub Smith, all of Missouri; and his sister Marilyn Bass, also of Missouri; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 8 great- great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eulah in 2015; his parents; his brother Sam Smith; and sisters Bonnie Barrett and Sarah Messer.
