Thomas Dale Davis II, 64, of Benton Harbor, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his residence.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake Shore Cemetery on Eaman Road in Hagar Township. Duffield and Pastrick Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Dale was born in St. Joseph, Michigan on Nov. 26, 1955 to Thomas and Nancy Davis. Following his graduation from Eau Claire High School, Dale began his trucking career. For 40 years he hauled fruit and vegetables for local farmers in the Eau Claire area during the summer and then delivered Christmas trees to Oklahoma every winter. He was an avid bass fisherman and was the head of the Master Casters Fishing Club. On March 27, 1998 he and Marlene Chabot were married in Las Vegas. Dale was a loving father and grandfather who never met a stranger.

Dale is survived by his wife Marlene; his two children, Thomas (Angie) Davis III and Nikki (Jerry) Joanis , both of St. Joseph; his mother, Nancy Davis of Eau Claire; two brothers, Darryl Davis and Doug (Linda) Davis and a sister Debbie (Kevin) Layman, all of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Molly and Maggie Joanis and Hayden Davis; and his beloved dogs Louie, Kramer, Jazzy and Cody.

Dale was preceded in death by his father Thomas Davis Sr.
