Timothy Kyle Poe, 53, of Benton Harbor, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 16, 2022 at his home.

Kyle was born on November 16, 1968 in Watervliet, Michigan to Francis and Gayle Poe.

Kyle was a graduate of Benton Harbor High School. Early in his career he owned his own business Poe's Drywall. Later on in life he worked for several different area businesses, including Regal Finishing, CRST Trucking Company, Napier Shell, and Cupp's Produce. Kyle enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed tending to his fruit and vegetable garden at home. Most importantly Kyle loved to spend time with his family and grandbabies.

He is survived by his wife Dawn; his daughter Athenna Poe of Benton Harbor; three sons, David Poe of Niles, Gaylon Poe and Zackery Poe, both of Dowagiac; his mother Francis Lassiter of Benton Harbor; his sisters, Carrie (Robert) Beardsley of Portage and Katrina (Jason) Shaefer of Benton Harbor; three brothers, Nathaniel Poe of Orlando, Florida, Brendon Poe and Christopher Poe, both of Portage; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Gayle and his grandparents.
