Tonda Sue Chronister, 61, of Coloma passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at Corewell Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 12 at El Bethel Church of God on Red Arrow Highway in Coloma where the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Watervliet City Cemetery. Tonda was born June 10, 1962 in Watervliet to Frank and Sandra Lee (Zehner) Roderick. She was formerly employed by Action Garment Rental in Benton Harbor.  In her free time she truly enjoyed bowling but above all else she loved spending time with her family and would do anything for them.  She was loved by everyone that knew her.

Survivors include her husband John whom she married August 1, 1981, her daughter Rebecca (Joshua) Gray of Burlington, MI; a sister Tina (Chuck) Freeman of Benton Harbor, half sister Sonya Conrad of Hartford, brothers Walter (Annette) Hatfield of Benton Harbor, Charles Hatfield of Watervliet, and many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Tonda was preceded in death by a brother Todd Roderick and a sister Tammy Roderick.
