Verba W. Coleman, 84, of Coloma, passed away on December 28, 2021 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service with burial following at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Memorial donations in Verba's  memory may be made to charity of your choice. Verba was born June 22, 1937 in Caruthersville, Mo. to Grover and Pearl (Mollett) Miller.   She mainly enjoyed taking care of her family but also loved playing pool and darts, cooking and reading.

Verba is survived by her children James (Jill) Watkins from Chicago, Lisa (Kenny) Fredericks of Sabastian, Fla., Tony (Diana) Coleman of Niles and Debra (Bill Napier) Coleman of Coloma. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Melvin "Smokey" Coleman, second husband Kenneth Geik, two grandsons Eric Coleman and Anthony Coleman Jr. and brothers Franklin and Lendell "Chico" Miller.
