Verlin Leroy Hunt, 79 of Covert passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at his residence.

Cremation has taken place.  Services celebrating his life will be held by the family at a later date.

Verlin was born August 3, 1942 in South Haven to Charles and Ethel (Frazier) Hunt.  He was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator by Berrien County Road Commission.   Verlin was an avid sports fan who loved basketball and football.  He enjoyed radio controlled cars, boats, and planes along with adding to his collection of die cast cars.  He als was a history buff and enjoyed studying the bible at home.

Survivors include two sons; Jack (Carolyn) Hunt and Leroy Hunt both of Covert and a grandson Matthew Hunt.

in addition to his parents Verlin was preceded in death by his wife Linda.
