Wanda was born July 19, 1930 in Benton Harbor to Walter and Beulah (Slenken) Koerber. On February 4, 1950 she married James Hembree.  Together they worked hand in hand as best friends, owning and operating Hembree Welding and Machining, and Hembree Trailer Sales in Coloma until their retirement in 1996.  She was also formerly employed by Fidelity Insurance and Whirlpool Corp..  She truly enjoyed spending time with all of her family while baking, and cooking for the holidays or just family get-togethers.  She also enjoyed crocheting, doing word books, reading and dinners out with her family and friends.   Many of her fondest memories were taking walks in Florida with friends and dancing on Saturday nights to live music with Jim.
