You have not truly experienced life to its fullest unless you have attended a Christmas Eve Celebration with William (Bill) Drogus. Epic does not even begin to describe the pageantry and tradition. You simply had to be there. So it is fitting that Bill is celebrating with Jesus this year.

Bill Drogus bolted into Heaven on December 10, 2020. For decades, he sang about God's Amazing Grace and now he is experiencing it live and in person.

Bill was born on August 18, 1937, in Pennsylvania to Howard Drogus and to Mildred (Oliver) Drogus. He graduated from New Brighton High School in New Brighton, PA.  After graduation, he joined the US Navy and served his country with pride and distinction.

The great outdoors had a strong pull in Bill's life. He found great joy in hunting, fishing, gardening and even mowing his lawn. He was the type of person who could repair anything and would drop everything to help a person in need.

His greatest joy, however, was in his family. He loved his family, imperfectly, yet passionately. Rex, Rhonda, Bill, Emily, Dawn, Steve, Cindy, and Pam put a sparkle in his eyes. Phone calls with his brother Mike were a source of great amusement and laughter. Dancing with his wife Mary in the kitchen, on the best of days, brought a wry smile to his face and put steel to his spine.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Mildred Drogus, his brother Tom, and his daughter Pam Kiser.

"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me!"

Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Dec 16, 2020 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Private burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Watervliet.  Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the charity of your choice.
